Bill and Fran Lambert Recognized by Rancho Santa Fe Senior Center, California Urban Water Conservation Council, and the RSF Rotary Club
Water Conservation Award
On December 8, 2010, the California Urban Water Conservation Council
presented Fran Lambert of Mariposa Landscape & Tree Service Inc. with the 2010 Llana Sherman Excellence Award for Local/Community Innovations.
The award was given for outstanding leadership and coordination of the efforts of vendors, volunteers, nurseries, and donated labor which resulted in the revitalization and enhancement of the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club to an exemplary Water Smart and Sustainable Gardening teaching center.
The award also commends Ms. Lambert for her awareness of and commitment to water conservation and more responsible landscaping through water use efficiency which has been recognized by the California Landscape Contractors Association, her customers and peers. Her grassroots leadership has resulted in the growth and acceptance of water-wise landscaping throughout San Diego County
Mariposa Receives Green Partner of the Year Award
Fran Lambert and Mariposa Landscape & Tree Service Inc. recently received Grangetto's Green Partner of the Year Award for their distinguished work in the community to help educate and apply sustainable landscape practices. Grangetto's Farm and Garden Supply has been supplying San Diego's North County Gardeners and Growers with the products they need for over 57 years.
